Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 2, 2026
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar information can also be kept in your browser's localStorage. Both help a site remember who you are and how you like things set up.
Kairoo uses cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for the service to work, or that remember a functional preference you chose yourself. With your consent, we also use advertising and measurement cookies as described below; if you do not consent, none of those are set.
On this website (kairoo.pro)
The strictly-necessary browser storage this website uses:
- Language preference — a cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) that remembers the language you picked, so the site opens in it next time.
- Notice dismissal — a localStorage entry that remembers you closed the cookie notice, so it is not shown again.
- Maintenance access — a temporary cookie used only during maintenance windows so authorised people can preview the site. Regular visitors never receive it.
- Error monitoring (Sentry) — collects technical error reports so we can fix problems; it sets no cookies on this website.
In the Kairoo app (app.kairoo.pro)
The app uses the following cookies and browser storage:
- Sign-in (Clerk) — session and security (CSRF-protection) cookies. Strictly necessary: they keep you signed in and your account safe.
- Onboarding — one functional cookie that remembers your progress through the initial setup.
- Interface preferences — localStorage entries for things like sidebar state, language, calendar view, and banners you dismissed.
- Payments (Paddle) — payment-provider cookies set only on the subscription checkout page. Strictly necessary to process the payment securely.
- Error monitoring (Sentry) — technical error reports, so we can find and fix problems.
Advertising and measurement cookies
With your consent, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and related technologies to measure how our advertising performs and to reach relevant audiences. These are loaded only after you agree; without your consent they are not used.
- Meta Pixel — cookies such as _fbp and _fbc; measures advertising performance and helps build advertising audiences. Typical lifetime up to about 90 days.
- Meta Conversions API — mirrors the same advertising events server-side. What is shared with Meta and the legal basis are described in our Privacy Policy.
Service providers
We rely on the following providers to operate Kairoo. Each processes data only to deliver its function:
- Clerk — authentication and account security
- Paddle — billing and payments
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Novu / Resend — transactional email
- Telegram — notifications, only if you opt in
- Cloudflare R2 — media file storage
- Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc. — advertising measurement and audience services, used only with your consent (see the Advertising section above).
Your choices and consent
Advertising and measurement cookies are set only if you agree to them. You can decline, and you can withdraw your agreement at any time — when you do, we stop setting those cookies. Strictly-necessary and functional cookies do not require consent because the service cannot work without them. To change or withdraw your choice at any time, use “Cookie settings” in the site footer.
