About Kairoo
Why Kairoo exists
Solo professionals β tutors, coaches, fitness trainers, therapists, consultants β run their entire business on a patchwork of disconnected tools. Spreadsheets for schedules. Messengers for reminders. Paper notebooks for payments. Calendar apps that don't talk to anything else.
We started Kairoo because we watched friends and family in these professions lose hours every week to administrative work, lose clients to no-shows that better reminders could prevent, and lose track of payments that should have been straightforward.
Kairoo replaces that patchwork with one platform built specifically for the way solo professionals actually work β not for salons, not for clinics, not for enterprise teams. The goal is simple: make the day-to-day operations of running a one-person practice as smooth as the work itself.
What we focus on
Kairoo is built around the core operations that take up most of a solo professional's non-billable time:
- Bookings and rescheduling β creating, moving, and managing client appointments without the back-and-forth
- Session and package tracking β knowing exactly how many sessions a client has left in their package, automatically
- Payment tracking β recording what's been paid, what's outstanding, and what's coming up
- Multi-channel reminders β email, Telegram, in-app notifications that actually reach clients
- Calendar sync β Google Calendar integration so Kairoo fits into existing workflows instead of replacing them
Everything we build is shaped by ongoing conversations with the people using it β the tutors, coaches, and trainers in our early access community.
Who's behind Kairoo

Mikhail Makarov, Founder
I'm a software engineer with 10+ years of experience across web development, backend systems, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and fintech.
I started Kairoo after watching close friends β language tutors, fitness coaches, music teachers β struggle with the same problems over and over. The tools they were patching together cost them time, focus, and clients. None of the existing scheduling platforms felt right: too generic, too enterprise, or built for completely different industries.
So we built what they needed.

Where Kairoo is now
Kairoo launched in early access in April 2026. We're focused on shipping the features solo professionals actually need β not feature bloat, not enterprise complexity, not generic templates.
