Refund Policy
Last updated: April 16, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for paid subscriptions to Kairoo, operated by Individual Entrepreneur Mikhail Makarov, Tbilisi, Georgia ("Kairoo", "we", "us"). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
All subscription payments are collected and processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method.
1. Free Trial
Every new account is eligible for a 31-day full-feature free trial. No payment method is required to start the trial, so there is nothing to refund — you are simply not charged.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee for First Purchase
If you are not satisfied with Kairoo, you can request a full refund of your first paid subscription charge within 14 days of that charge. No questions asked.
This applies to your first monthly or annual subscription purchase only, regardless of your country of residence. EU/UK consumers retain any additional statutory rights of withdrawal under applicable law.
3. Monthly Subscription Renewals
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically. Because the renewal price is small and the period is short, monthly renewal charges are generally not refundable. You can cancel renewal at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future charges and you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
If a monthly renewal was charged because you forgot to cancel and you have not used the Service during the new period, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will consider a refund on a good-faith basis.
4. Annual Subscription Renewals
Annual subscriptions renew automatically. If you wish to cancel, please do so before the renewal date.
If an annual renewal was charged unexpectedly, you can request a refund within 14 days of the renewal charge, provided you have not made significant use of the Service in the new annual period. We may instead offer a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the period, at our discretion.
5. Service Outages and Technical Issues
If the Service experiences a prolonged outage that materially prevents you from using Kairoo, we may, at our discretion, offer a credit, an extension of your subscription, or a partial refund. Contact kairoo.project@gmail.com to report the issue.
6. Situations Not Eligible for a Refund
Outside the cases described above, refunds are not generally provided for:
- partial billing periods after voluntary cancellation;
- accounts terminated by us due to a breach of the Terms of Service, including violations of our Acceptable Use rules;
- dissatisfaction with features that were clearly described before purchase or that are on our public roadmap rather than already available;
- third-party costs unrelated to Kairoo (for example, your own internet, devices, or email-delivery providers).
7. How to Request a Refund
Send an email to kairoo.project@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Kairoo account. Please include:
- your account email;
- the Paddle order or invoice number (visible in your receipt);
- the date and amount of the charge;
- a brief reason for the request (helpful but not required for first-purchase refunds within 14 days).
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are typically processed by Paddle within 3–10 business days and appear on your statement depending on your bank or card provider.
8. Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, please contact us — most billing concerns can be resolved quickly and directly. Disputed payments may result in the temporary suspension of your account until the matter is resolved.
